Ingredients
1 sweet potato, peeled and diced
1 small potato, peeled and diced
3-4 ounces of fresh salmon fillet
Dill
1 tsp olive oil
Directions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Place a steamer basket in the pot and add the sweet potato, potato, salmon and a pinch of dill to the basket. Cover and steam until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Remove the ingredients from the steamer basket and transfer them to a blender or food processor and add 5oz of the steaming water.
- Add the olive oil and puree the mixture until smooth, adding a little bit of the steaming water as needed to reach the desired consistency.
- Serve the puree warm, or store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
