Use these holiday dishes as a way not only to teach children how to cook but to teach them how to serve guests, use proper table manners and etiquette

Orange Sherbet Salad

  • 2 small packages orange Jell-O
  • 1-1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 pint orange sherbet
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 (9 ounce) Cool Whip

 

Dissolve Jello in water. Stir in sherbet, and rest of ingredients. Pour into a 9X 13 inch pan/dish. Refrigerate overnight.

A beautiful holiday dish.
