Smoothies, Slushies and Other Fun Drinks

There is nothing more refreshing on a hot day than a nice, cold drink. We need to drink more in the heat than usual as our body sweats and dehydrates more. Soda isn’t always good for you and everyone gets tired of the same old things. So why not try something different?

Smoothies and slushies are usually made in a blender. It’s not just a good way to quench your thirst but a fun way to get your vitamins. You can use all kinds of fruits – bananas, berries, peaches – in smoothies. They are great for breakfast too. Slushies are primarily drinks made of some type of juice or beverage and ice.

I have also included some punch or other type drinks for those of you who don’t have a blender.
